The Hatbill Gang offers exciting shooting opportunities:

STOKE YOUR 97: Here at Hatbill, a shooter can, if they so desire, stoke their 97 with as many rounds as they would like ON THE CLOCK. The shotgun is still started empty but the “load two” rule is not in effect at Hatbill.

Josey Wales Category: How about using 4 pistols and NO rifle. It can be shot Traditional or Gunfighter style. No CROSSDRAW Holsters allowed. All other SASS rules apply.

RimFire Category: We offer new or inexperienced shooters the chance to get a taste of cowboy shooting without having to handle larger caliber guns. If they feel more comfortable shooting .22 caliber, at least for the first few matches, we've given them a category of their own! They compete solely against other Rimfire shooters.

The RimFire category will use: .22 caliber Single Action handguns (1 or 2 revolvers is OK), a lever or pump rifle of cowboy vintage, and a shotgun of cowboy vintage (or you can elect to use a single barrel, single shot version from .410 up to a 12 gauge). If the shooter has no leather, don't worry, we'll stage the guns. You can shoot on a regular posse with your parents or friends. Adult and/or experienced supervision is an uncompromising must for all RimFire shooters.

Please Note: Young shooters must be old enough to safely handle firearms and be under the direct supervision of their parents at all times.
